Paul Nolan wants more improvement from Fine Article

Fine Article is on course to make his debut over fences at Punchestown in the next few weeks.

Trainer Paul Nolan is eyeing a beginners' chase over two and a half miles on November 14 won last year by the Willie Mullins-trained Valseur Lido.

Fine Article showed useful form over hurdles last term, but Nolan believes putting the six-year-old over the bigger obstacles will eke out further improvement.

"We're hoping to start him off in a two-and-a-half mile beginners' chase at the next Punchestown meeting," said the County Wexford trainer.

"He's in good form and hopefully he can improve from his hurdles form."
