The catalogue for the Tattersalls December Yearling Sale is now online and can be viewed at www.tattersalls.com. Numbering 200 lots, the December Yearling Sale will take place Monday 27th November.
A colt by DUBAWI as well as siblings to BARNEY ROY (pictured) and TRADING LEATHER are some of the highlights in a high class catalogue which includes own or half brothers and sisters to 37 Group and Listed performers, in addition to 13 yearlings eligible for £25,000 Tattersalls October Book 1 Bonuses, 13 eligible for the £150,000 Tattersalls October Auction Stakes, five eligible for the 300,000 Euros Tattersalls Ireland Super Auction Stakes and a further five eligible for French Owners’ Premiums.
The only DUBAWI catalogued is the Grove Stud consigned son of the Group 1 Premio Lydia Tesio winner SORTILEGE. The colt has already been named SINATRA and hails from the Classic German family of Group 1 winners SCHIAPARELLI, SAMUM, SALVE REGINA and SEA THE MOON. Grove Stud also consign the SEA THE STARS half-sister to the Group 1 Cheveley Park Stakes winner ROSDHU QUEEN.
Hazelwood Bloodstock consign the KODIAC half-sister to the Group 1 St James’ Palace Stakes winner BARNEY ROY whilst Norris Bloodstock consign the DAWN APPROACH half-brother to the Group 1 Irish Derby winner TRADING LEATHER. The December Yearling catalogue also features half brothers to the Group/Grade 1 winners GITANO HERNANDO, TEMIDA, SHE BE WILD and RELIABLE MAN.
Eight of the top 10 British and Irish based sires are represented with DARK ANGEL, DUBAWI, KODIAC, ACCLAMATION, IFFRAAJ, SEA THE STARS, NATHANIEL and INVINCIBLE SPIRIT accounting for 34 of those catalogued between them.
Proven Grade/Group 1 sires with progeny in the sale include the USA-based KITTEN’S JOY and LEMON DROP KID, the French-based KENDARGENT, LE HAVRE and SIYOUNI as well as the Japanese-based RULERSHIP. Group and Grade 1 winning first-crop sires are also well represented with yearlings catalogued by AUSTRALIA, CHARM SPIRIT, KINGMAN, MAGICIAN, MUKHADRAM, NO NAY NEVER, NOBLE MISSION, OLYMPIC GLORY, RULER OF THE WORLD, SEA THE MOON, SLADE POWER, TORONADO and WAR COMMAND.

Eight of the current top ten sires in Britain and Ireland have yearlings catalogued and as well as 13 yearlings eligible for £25,000 Tattersalls October Book 1 Bonuses, owners will find eighteen more eligible for either the £150,000 Tattersalls October Auction Stakes or the 300,000 Euros Tattersalls Ireland Super Auction Stakes and nearly 100 eligible for the Plus 10 Bonus Scheme."
