A dedicated private banking service north of the Border

To meet the growing demand for a dedicated private banking service north of the Border, Weatherbys Private Bank opened an office in Edinburgh in 2016.

Located in the heart of Edinburgh’s West End, our dedicated team of specialists allows us to serve clients throughout Scotland.  We enjoy meeting with our clients at their homes or place of business, gaining a greater understanding of their circumstances and a feel for what is most important to them.

This extensive geographical reach has seen the natural development of a richly diverse portfolio of private banking clients based in Scotland, from many walks of life.

Building on a long tradition of innovation and commercial modernisation, Scotland is home to some of the UK’s most progressive entrepreneurs.

Should the time come that you decide to sell your business, we are well placed to provide bespoke wealth planning, investment or tax advice, as well as cash management services.

With tailored personal service and consideration for a client’s individual circumstances central to all we do, Weatherbys Private Bank is particularly well positioned to take care of the financial requirements of Scotland’s rural land and estate owners.

Where the majority of a client’s wealth is held in assets such a land and property, lending arrangements – for personal or business purposes – can be difficult to secure. Unlike most banks, we can take into consideration a client’s property, investments, guarantees or land when considering lending applications. We will consider applications from all borrowers, including Trusts, individuals aged over 70 and expats, without the rigid constraints of other lenders.
