Race Verdict

Thanks For Coming sets a fair standard on his two handicap efforts this season and seems sure to be in the shake-up again, while Bold Chief arguably would have won but for a last-flight mistake at Fontwell latest and warrants plenty of respect. The vote, however, goes to THE MUSICAL GUY. Nigel Twiston-Davies' charge shaped with a lot more promise when third behind the potentially top-class Simonsig (who has won again since) at Ascot last time and further progression must see him go close here.

Selection: The Musical Guy        Danger: Thanks For Coming        Alternative: Bold Chief
