Race Verdict

Cool Friend makes plenty of appeal despite risen 5lb in the handicap following her workmanlike Sandown success, while Riguez Dancer can't be overlooked with Tony McCoy an eye-catching jockey booking, although he was doing all his best work late on over an extended 3m in the JLT Chase at Cheltenham last time so dropping back in trip is a big concern. The one to beat, however, looks to be FIX THE RIB, who may well get the run of the race. Gary Moore's nine-year-old has been known to cut out the running on many occasions in the past and, with no other obvious pace-setters in today's line-up, this past course winner could make every post a winning one.

Selection: Fix The Rib        Danger: Cool Friend        Alternative: Riguez Dancer
