Race Verdict

Red Somerset has been in terrific form in sellers and claimers and is respected but he might just find life a little tougher back in handicap company. The same can be said for Spinning Ridge so the one to be on could be SATWA LAIRD. He performed with credit over 7f here last month and the slight step up in trip should suit so he could be set to take advantage of his fair handicap mark. His stablemate, Opus Maximus, should not be totally overlooked with Angelic Upstart and Whitby Jet also considered in an open affair.

Selection: Satwa Laird        Danger: Whitby Jet        Alternative: Opus Maximus
