Race Verdict

NICKY NUTJOB is due to go up 5lb in future races and is worth another look in this company after a decent Ludlow effort earlier this month. The six-year-old is the only distance winner in the field and is stepped back up to 2m1f today on ground which looks set to play to his strengths. Wicklewood shaped well at Stratford last time and remains feasibly treated off just a 2lb higher mark, while the 95-rated Jawhary rates pick of the remainder.

Selection: Nicky Nutjob        Danger: Wicklewood        Alternative: Jawhary
