Race Verdict

Gallimaufry showed some ability over extreme trips last year and she can run a big race for each-way punters if at the top of her game on her return from a break. However, the one to beat could be TERFEL'S TOSCAR. He was narrowly denied over 2m6f at Newton Abbot last week and is officially 7lb well in here as his new rating does not take effect until Saturday. Spot The Ball also makes the shortlist while Derwen Pryde should not be overlooked.

Selection: Terfel's Toscar        Danger: Gallimaufry        Alternative: Spot The Ball
