Race Verdict

TALBOT GREEN posted his best effort yet when runner-up over 2m at Lingfield last week and there could still be more improvement to come from him so he is fancied to go one better here. Broughton's Bandit got off the mark over 2m at Kempton last month and a 5lb rise is unlikely to prevent another bold bid. Waldsee, Leyte Gulf and Cloudy Start all come into this in fair form and they all make some appeal in a competitive handicap.

Selection: Talbot Green        Danger: Broughtons Bandit        Alternative: Waldsee
