Race Verdict

VENTURA SANDS rounded off last season with a win over a mile at Ayr on soft ground and the drop to 7f should not be a problem so, providing he is at the top of his game, he can make an impact on his reappearance. Intercept is unexposed and he shaped nicely at Kempton on his return to action last month so has to be on the shortlist. Hail Promenader is worth a second glance on his first run for his new yard while Global Village also commands respect.

Selection: Ventura Sands        Danger: Intercept        Alternative: Global Village
