Race Verdict

STRIPPED BEAR turned in a creditable effort when second on debut at Southwell on Tuesday and rates the one to beat if capable of reproducing that effort. Tom Dascombe's filly was narrowly edged out in a battle with the eventual winner but the pair pulled two lengths clear of the remainder and there is likely better to come. Stablemate Back In The Frame is related to last year's Coventry Stakes third (St Barths) so merits a market check, along with fellow newcomer, Lexi The Princess, whose trainer saddled the winner against the selection at Southwell last week.

Selection: Stripped Bear        Danger: Lexi The Princess        Alternative: Back In The Frame
