Race Verdict

BARTOLOMEU's last-time-out second over this trip represented improvement upon his 6f debut at Doncaster last season and he sets the clear form standard for the rest to aim at this afternoon. Second over 1m when last sighted here in October, Jack Of Diamonds looks the main danger now dropped in trip, although he is returning from a break and needs to be monitored closely in the market. Newcomer Evanescent is a half-brother to the Group 3-placed Duchess Of Foxland and is another for whom market support would be noteworthy.

Selection: Bartolomeu        Danger: Jack Of Diamonds        Alternative: Evanescent
