Race Verdict

Jonjo O'Neill may just hold the key to this novice hurdle and THE MAD ROBERTSON is preferred over Johns Spirit. The selection is expected to appreciate any cut in the ground and can take plenty of encouragement form a positive start over timber here last month. The latter must carry a penalty for his Stratford success last October but wasn't disgraced when sixth in the Imperial Cup last time, while Rock Relief is also given a chance.

Selection: The Mad Robertson        Danger: Johns Spirit        Alternative: Rock Relief
