Italian Group 1 winner Nayarra had some useful form to her name from these shores as a juvenile and certainly enters calculations in a race which Mick Channon has done well in over the years. Sunday Times is another with top-class form in the book following her Cheveley Park second, while Pimpernel chased home Classic-bound Wading in the Rockfel over C&D last autumn and arrives here match fit. Starscope looked a useful filly in the making when staying on strongly to make a winning start here at the end of last season and could be anything, with Muaamara also falling into that category. However, the early indications are that Sir Michael Stoute has his string fairly far forward this spring, following a quiet season last year, and RUSSELLIANA could be worth following given her Cherry Hinton second to Gamilati is rock-solid form and her subsequent Ascot disappointment was clearly too bad to be true.
