Race Verdict

EMMASLEGEND has room for improvement in her fencing technique but should go close with a clear round. An easy winner of an Ascot mares' handicap hurdle in November, she followed up with a facile chasing debut success at Folkestone. Last seen in March when well beaten by the useful Duke Of Lucca, she can take advantage of the weight she receives from Mr Moss. The latter made no show in the Midlands National and will enjoy the return to novice company. He rates an obvious danger whilst recent course hurdles winner Kingsmere is not discounted either.

Selection: Emmaslegend        Danger: Mr Moss        Alternative: Kingsmere
