Race Verdict

Kumasi Clan could prove capable of better now sent handicapping off what looks a workable mark but with form in the book, it should prove safest to side with WHISTLING SENATOR. The 5-y-o appeared to have plenty left in the tank when winning over this trip at Huntingdon last month and despite a 7lb rise in the weights for that success, he still looks one step ahead of the assessor. Natural Spring ran well enough at Kempton last time to be considered with top-weight Henry Hook also respected.

Selection: Whistling Senator        Danger: Kumasi Clan        Alternative: Natural Spring
