Race Verdict

TARQUINIUS remains 13lb higher than when scoring at Lingfield in February but hinted over 3m at Chepstow last time, when outpaced in the closing stages, that the return to this longer trip could unlock some improvement. Salut Honore is 5lb higher than when scoring at Catterick last month but isn't yet fully exposed over fences and looks the one that can put up most resistance. Tim The Chair handles slow ground and could feasibly find a little bit of improvement in a first-time visor.

Selection: Tarquinius        Danger: Salut Honore        Alternative: Tim The Chair
