Race Verdict

FOLLOW THE FLAG is fully exposed and didn't run up to his mark when fading away into mid-division at Newbury last time. Those are the negatives but on the plus side, he'd been running consistently well previously and has assured fitness on his side. He's a speculative selection but it's a tricky opener and he could be a value option at the likely prices. Media Hype is up 10lb for a decisive recent Pontefract success and there could well be more to come after just five career starts to date. Knowe Head, Tenhoo and One Pursuit are all respected.

Selection: Follow The Flag        Danger: Media Hype        Alternative: Knowe Head
