Race Verdict

GABRIAL THE HERO can send punters home in front and David Simcock's colt wouldn't have to improve an awful lot on his form behind Ed De Gas (which has since been franked) at Lingfield last time out. He failed to justify cramped odds (2-7) on that occasion but looks to have bumped into a smart prospect and another chance is given. Sir Graham Wade was sent off favourite for a Doncaster maiden on his reappearance but failed to land a blow and, while entitled to have stripped fitter for that, Right To Rule is another interesting quantity for William Waggas, who has started the season in good form.

Selection: Gabrial The Hero        Danger: Sir Graham Wade        Alternative: Right To Rule
