Race Verdict

Venetia Williams looks to hold a strong hand with the consistent Bennys Mist and Sawpit Samba and the market could prove a useful guide when assessing the chances of that pair. The former ran in snatches when finishing second at Chepstow last month but he is clearly useful, while the latter makes his handicap debut off a lowly mark this afternoon and certainly hasn't been devoid of promise in three starts so far. However, it might be worth chancing HOBB'S DREAM who was heavily backed for a similar race to this at Plumpton two starts back and will be ideally suited by today's conditions.

Selection: Hobb's Dream        Danger: Bennys Mist        Alternative: Sawpit Samba
