Race Verdict

This looks a match on paper between THE NILE and Zaeem, and the former gets the vote for the potent John Gosden/William Buick combination. Their son of Three Valleys was third in a Newbury maiden at the back end of last season, just one place behind subsequent Fillies' Mile third Firdaws, and is open to any amount of improvement. Godolphin's representative is beginning to look exposed having failed to notch in four attempts prior to this but he must be respected, along with Indian Blossom.

Selection: The Nile        Danger: Zaeem        Alternative: Indian Blossom
