Race Verdict

Wild Sauce shaped like a filly very much on an upward curve when scoring over this trip at Wolverhampton last time but LORD BUFFHEAD is due to go up 5lb in future races and looks the one to be on following a close-up second at Catterick last month. That performance came on soft ground, so conditions are likely to play into his hands and he can use his experience to good advantage. Phoenix Clubs rates best of the rest.

Selection: Lord Buffhead        Danger: Wild Sauce        Alternative: Phoenix Clubs
