Race Verdict

A trappy handicap to close and stakes should be kept to a quiet level. Clive Cox has made a pleasing start to the season and DEVDAS could be a value option here from the lower reaches of the handicap. Only beaten a nose by Stipulate in a Leicester maiden in August, he went on to score in a nursery here before acquitting himself well in two similar contests and should make up into a useful handicapper this term. Frog Hollow looks another certain improver whilst Rewarded and Archbishop also merit respect in a contest worthy of repeated review.

Selection: Devdas        Danger: Frog Hollow        Alternative: Rewarded
