Race Verdict

FORT BASTION contested high-quality contests last season, highlighted by an excellent second to Entifaadha in the Group 3 Acomb Stakes at York before being beaten only just over three lengths (finished seventh) by Dabirsim in Group 1 company at Longchamp on Arc day. Richard Hannon looks to have found a lovely opportunity for the Lawman colt to break his duck before aiming him at rather more elevated targets. Captain Kendall was beaten nine lengths in an ordinary Bath maiden on reappearance and the unraced pair of Oceana Dreamer and Zhiggy's Stardust look more interesting. They are preferred in that order.

Selection: Fort Bastion        Danger: Oceana Dreamer        Alternative: Zhiggy's Stardust
