Placed in a hurdle race and a chase from nine starts. Well beaten at 6-1 behind Cecily Parsley when fifth of 8 on his latest outing in a chase at Towcester over 2m 6f (good) last month.
Cebonne returned to form at Fontwell last month and makes plenty of appeal having dropped back down to his last winning mark, but MIDNIGHT CHARMER edges the verdict in receipt of so much weight. Emma Baker's gelding was admittedly disappointing on a quick surface at Towcester last month, but a repeat of his second place finish on rain-soaked ground at Fontwell previously would give him a great chance. Thedreamstillalive is ridiculously well treated on best form, but hasn't shown a great deal in both starts since returning from a long time off in December.
