Race Verdict

Huckleberry and PARADISE EXPECTED both arrive in the form of their lives but Tim Vaughan's representative is preferred as she is expected to go best in testing conditions. The mare scored on heavy ground at Ffos Las on Boxing Day and has recently notched another couple of victories at the Welsh track. Tony Carroll's charge has gone up over 20lb in the ratings since landing his first of three handicap chases at Chepstow in March but is respected nevertheless, along with the veteran, Derawar.

Selection: Paradise Expected        Danger: Huckleberry        Alternative: Derawar
