Race Verdict

CABBYL DOO has a course win to his name over fences and also scored at Perth over the larger obstacles last year. He ran a cracker here last time on heavy ground when beaten half a length by Constant Contact and a repeat of that level should suffice with solid form thin on the ground. Rupert Bear has shown bits and pieces of form but the once-raced Academy, from the thriving Alexander operation, could emerge as the main threat having shown some useful form in maiden company of the Flat. Lord Luso showed a little promise last time.

Selection: Cabbyl Doo        Danger: Academy        Alternative: Rupert Bear
