Race Verdict

Pintrada and Tenhoo both showed greatly improved form last term but it wasn't surprising to see the handicapper take their measure by the end of the campaign. Both should be all the better for seasonal pipe-openers but it remains to be seen if either or both can regain last year's level. Mica Mika has been absent since scoring over timber towards the end of 2011 but will be a danger to all if ready to roll. However, LUGGERS HALL has been in decent form over hurdles and could be open to plenty of progression on the level after just four outings.

Selection: Luggers Hall        Danger: Mica Mika        Alternative: Tenhoo
