Race Verdict

CINEVATOR is likely to be a warm order after his cosy success at Newton Abbot last month and is taken to defy an 8lb rise in the weights to make it 2-2 since being switched to handicaps. Lieutenant Miller's form tailed off last year but he's considered a player off 104 if rejuvenated by a 148-day break and merits serious consideration, likewise Manjam, who has been raised 7lb for a narrow course (2m7f) victory two weeks ago but has the speed to mount a bold bid now dropped in trip.

Selection: Cinevator        Danger: Lieutenant Miller        Alternative: Manjam
