Race Verdict

WALDSEE is taken to land the finale. A C&D winner in February, he has backed that up with a couple of solid thirds at Wolverhampton since and it looks significant that Seb Sanders, who is two from two when teaming up with the stable (before First Battalion's run in the previous race), rides for the first time. Broughtons Bandit has developed into an ultra-consistent performer at this level and looks certain to be in the shake-up once again, while Tae Kwon Do is worthy of consideration on his first Flat start for Tim Vaughan.

Selection: Waldsee        Danger: Broughtons Bandit        Alternative: Tae Kwon Do
