Race Verdict

It would be no surprise to see Instance make a big impact in major sprint handicaps this year, but she hasn't raced since last July and this is a fiercely competitive contest in which to return to action. Preference, therefore, is for SHROPSHIRE, who had Wafffle (9th), Valery Borzov (12th), Escape To Glory (19th) and Victoire De Lyphar (22nd) well behind when bumping into a classy Irish challenger at Newmarket earlier in the month. He 'won' the race on his side of the track that day and looks a good bet here competing off the same mark. New Planet and Coolminx are decent each-way alternatives.

Selection: Shropshire        Danger: Instance        Alternative: New Planet
