Race Verdict

HANDSOME RANSOM went down narrowly when runner-up to an 81 rated rival at Lingfield last time and with the likelihood of further improvement, he is fancied to go one better here. There are plenty of interesting newcomers in opposition, however, and support for any of them would be interesting. John Gosden's Ghusoon is amongst the most interesting along with Luca Cumani's Southerly and David Simcock's Any Given Dream, who is related to some useful performers.

Selection: Handsome Ransom        Danger: Ghusoon        Alternative: Southerly
