Race Verdict

Dual Group 3 winner Triple Aspect is having his first ever run in a handicap and could simply outclass them all if back to anything like his best. However, last month's comeback run at Nottingham tempers enthusiasm and preference is for PARISIAN PYRAMID, who was beaten only two lengths by quality Irish raider Maarek when fourth in a big-field Newmarket dash 19 days ago. Kevin Ryan's tough grey hasn't scored since June 2010 but he's run some fine races in defeat since, knows what's required over this C&D and has the perfect rails draw to help him dominate. Ahtoug caught the eye flashing home for second at Meydan and merits respect back on these shores, as does Oneladyowner, who will appreciate a return to better ground after floundering on his reappearance at Doncaster.

Selection: Parisian Pyramid        Danger: Triple Aspect        Alternative: Ahtoug
