Race Verdict

Shaunas Spirit has been off the track for 157-days but was running to a consistent level here at the start of the year and would have place prospects if returning in the same form. There could be better to come from Carpentras, who has been raised 3lb for a narrow victory at Yarmouth last month, while Do More Business is respected from a low draw. Preferred ahead of all, however, is VOLCANIC JACK, whose last-time-out Lingfield second off 1lb lower suggests he's weighted to strike if seeing out this extra furlong.

Selection: Volcanic Jack        Danger: Shaunas Spirit        Alternative: Carpentras
