Race Verdict

WATERFORD STAR scored with plenty in hand in a first-time visor when upped to 2m for the first time at Yarmouth earlier in the month and Ian Williams can probably have a bit more fun around staying distances before the handicapper catches up with him. Last-time-out track and trip scorer Reillys Daughter is entitled to be thereabouts under her penalty but a bigger danger could be Grandad Mac, who has been outpaced over 1m4f lately and is a potential improver now granted this stiffer test.

Selection: Waterford Star        Danger: Grandad Mac        Alternative: Reillys Daughter
