Race Verdict

BLANC DE CHINE is on an upward curve and a 7lb rise for her Goodwood success last month might not be enough to halt her progress. Red Senor has failed to build on his Lingfield maiden success in three subsequent runs but it is too early to write him off and he makes the shortlist, along with Jwala, who rounded off last year with a cosy win in a Wolverhampton maiden. Place In My Heart is another with claims.

Selection: Blanc De Chine        Danger: Jwala        Alternative: Red Senor
