Race Verdict

CATFLAP has shown varying degrees of promise in her first three starts on the all-weather but it appears significant Ryan Moore gets the ride on her first outing in the handicap sphere. Second to the now 77-rated Khubala at Lingfield in April, Derek Haydn Jones' filly doesn't look overly burdened with an initial mark of 64 and improvement should be forthcoming. Folkestone maiden scorer Rum Punch is clearly heading the right way and should also go well on her handicap bow if handling the soft ground. Hat-trick seeker Dark Ages and the Charlie Hills-trained Hey Fiddle Fiddle are a little more exposed, but neither should be completely overlooked.

Selection: Catflap        Danger: Rum Punch        Alternative: Dark Ages
