Race Verdict

SATICON won with plenty in hand over 2m4f here earlier in the month and may be capable of defying a 6lb rise now stepped up to this longer trip. The list of dangers is headed by recent track and trip scorer Knighton Combe, who now steps into handicaps and could be well treated on the pick of his best chase form. Recent Stratford runner-up Ambrose Princess drops back in trip but merits respect, along with last-time-out Wetherby second Merrydown.

Selection: Saticon        Danger: Knighton Combe        Alternative: Ambrose Princess
