Race Verdict

Richard Hannon won a division of this race 12 months ago and this year saddles Red Refraction, who stepped up on his debut third with a close second over 7f at Salisbury. However, he may have to settle for the silver medal again here as ONE WORD MORE caught the eye when staying on for second once the penny dropped late on in a 7f Newbury maiden and that initial experience is entitled to have brought him on considerably. Zanetto has contested two hot events so far and completes the shortlist.

Selection: One Word More        Danger: Red Refraction        Alternative: Zanetto
