Race Verdict

It may be best to concentrate on Barons Spy and PERFECT PASTIME, both of whom recorded head victories in the mud here last time out and although 2lb and 4lb higher respectively now, most of the remainder have questions to answer after disappointing last time out efforts. The former's win came over 7f so the preference is for Jim Boyle's charge, whose C&D victory may have been down to the application of cheekpieces (worn again today) and the front two pulled well clear. Prime Exhibit has been competing at a higher level and could be a threat now dropped in grade.

Selection: Perfect Pastime        Danger: Barons Spy        Alternative: Prime Exhibit
