Race Verdict

Colinca's Lad made all of the running to score over 1m4f here last week but may be vulnerable over this shorter trip now turned out under a penalty. Of more interest is BLUE DEER, who is unraced beyond 1m but hinted he was well worth a try over further when staying on for minor money at Kempton latest. Last year's winner Hawaana is respected having slipped to a 2lb lower mark this time around and would be interesting if the market spoke in his favour now returning from a 154-day break.

Selection: Blue Deer        Danger: Hawaana        Alternative: Colinca's Lad
