Race Verdict

The Holyman looks the obvious starting point since he arrives here on a hat-trick and has been in rude health at Lingfield, which is similarly sharp in character. He's returning from a 138-day break today, however, and now tackling slower ground, it might be worth siding with LIEUTENANT KOJAK instead. The selection is 4lb higher than when scoring at Ripon last month but there may be further improvement to come on his tenth career start. The lightly-raced Kuda Huraa and recent C&D second Reggie Perrin complete the shortlist.

Selection: Lieutenant Kojak        Danger: The Holyman        Alternative: Kuda Huraa
