Clear Praise wasn't beaten far at Lingfield recently over a 5f trip that is arguably on the sharp side for him. A bold bid therefore looks assured now returned to 6f tonight, but it might be worth taking a chance on C&D winner CELTIC SIXPENCE returning to form instead. The Noel Quinlan-trained selection didn't get the race run to suit at Kempton last time but has dropped to within 2lb of her last winning mark and could be rejuvenated by the fitting of first-time blinkers. The consistent Lupo D'Oro, making only his second 6f start, completes the shortlist.
