Race Verdict

SELFARA, clearly improving with her racing, can supplement recent Nottingham gains achieved in some style when coming clear up the stands rail. She should be good enough to defy her penalty at the prime expense of Irish Boy, a useful type at this level at his best. He was clear of the remainder when going down by a neck to Maltease Ah at Leicester last time and is very much at home on a quick surface. Berberana looks in need of respite from the handicapper and Love You Louis appears exposed, which leaves The Strig as the best shortlist option.

Selection: Selfara        Danger: Irish Boy        Alternative: The Strig
