Winx was hailed as an "exceptional athlete" as the star Australian mare claimed a 25th victory consecutive victory in the Group One Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Randwick.
In doing so, she matched the great Black Caviar, who won just as many races on the spin.
Jockey Hugh Bowman said: "I'm just so elated. I'm so proud of her and I'm just so proud to be a part of it.

Winx, who was winning at the top level for an 18th time, will now be given time off before returning in October in her quest to land a record-breaking fourth Cox Plate at Moonee Valley.
