Weatherbys has been producing the highest quality Private Stud Books for its regular and new clients for many years. Whether you just have a couple of mares or a band of many, we can tailor a Stud Book or Stud Card to suit your needs and budget. You could even produce one to record your stallion’s book of mares. The publications make an ideal marketing tool for your stud or simply to document your stud’s achievements.

All books are produced with stud records and pedigrees for each broodmare, with the option to include photographs. Additional pages can be included for the stud’s history, stallion pedigrees, horses in training as well as yearlings and foals.

Consignment Books

Weatherbys provides many leading sales consignors with all the essential up-to-date pedigree information and statistics to ensure nothing is missed when selling horses to their maximum value.

This bespoke publication provides you with the latest data to sell your horses, as well as to help answer those detailed questions posed by potential purchasers.

The colour-coded pages highlight the latest statistics and updates throughout the pedigree. This includes race records, sales prices and purchasers, the latest trainers, ratings and distances won over. On top of this you also receive the sire’s sales averages, that year’s black type performances, where he stands and the covering fee history. We can also include leading cross-analysis reports and other extended stallion information to tailor the books to your needs.

This all comes in an A4-sized plastic covered ring bound book designed specifically for the individual consignor. Two copies are provided, more if required, so that those selling opportunities are not missed.
Pricing starts at £40 per lot for horses in training and mixed sales and £50 per lot for yearling, foal and mare sales.
