Ruby Walsh expects to find out next week if he will be fit to ride at the Punchestown Festival.

It will be a tight call for the star jockey, who again fractured a leg after a fall on the second day of the Cheltenham Festival.

"It's coming on. I've still got the boot on," he told ITV Racing's Opening Show programme.

"I'd like it to be coming along a bit quicker and I'm aiming for Punchestown.

"You have to have an aim. If you don't have an aim, you've no target.

"I don't know if I will be back, I'll find out next week."
