Ante-post favourite Saxon Warrior is set to head straight to the Qipco 2000 Guineas at Newmarket, according to trainer Aidan O'Brien.
The Deep Impact colt currently heads the market for the May 5 Classic and the Investec Derby at Epsom, following his victories in the Beresford Stakes and the Group One Racing Post Trophy last season.
O'Brien had indicated last month he would not give Saxon Warrior a prep run, and intends to stick to that plan.
He said: "He's going straight to the Guineas at the moment, unless something changes.
"He's coming, he has a good bit to do still, but he's coming.
"He's a big, powerful horse."
Saxon Warrior is the general 5-1 market leader for Newmarket.
