Ballychorus set to seek Leopardstown compensation for Mags Mullins

Ballychorus will bid to atone for an unfortunate last fence fall in the Ladbrokes Troytown Chase when turning out again at Leopardstown after Christmas.

Trained by Mags Mullins for Barry Connell, the daughter of King's Theatre was bidding to complete a four-timer this season in the 100,000 euro Navan feature and still held a narrow advantage when falling at the last.

The six-year-old mare has a choice of engagements at the Leopardstown Festival, and connections are still mulling over which way to go.

Ms Mullins said, "She has done all her work and whichever way we go, the Paddy Power or the (Grade One Neville Hotels) novice, we are happy with her. Danny schooled her over fences last week and was delighted."
