Flemenstar is reported to be in tip-top shape following his dramatic victory in the Paddy Power So Quick, So Easy iPhone App Chase at Leopardstown on Sunday.

The 10-year-old, who has been plagued by leg trouble, showed he is no back number when getting up on the run-in to deny Simply Ned in the Grade One after the fall of Un De Sceaux at the second-last had thrown the race wide open.

It was a first winner for Tony Curran, son of owner Stephen Curran, since he took out a licence in the summer to handle Flemenstar, who was formerly trained by Tony Martin and Peter Casey.

"It's great to have him back ," said the trainer.

"Everything went super. They went a good pace and he stayed on well.

"This horse has got great heart and always had.

"He's great this morning.

"We'll give him a few weeks and see where we go next. It will be Punchestown for the Tied Cottage (on January 31) or something similar."
